Americans Need Debt Relief!

Tempted by the need to live the American Dream, unfortunately, more and more Americans are putting their families, and loved ones, in true financial despair in a hopeless attempt to “have it all”. In the truest sense of the word, they are trying to borrow their way into prosperity. Unfortunately, as a society, we have grown exceptionally accustomed to the instant gratification provided by immediate credit card offers and low introductory rates.

At one time or another, everyone has fallen victim to the skillful marketing campaigns of credit card companies and banks offering an endless selection of interest rates and debt consolidation programs. Unfortunately, we have been lured into a very costly “monthly payments” mentality and rarely reminded of the actual benefits of the real price paid.

We have become imprisoned by credit cards and are truly depriving ourselves of financial independence. Rather than planning for the future, we are being forced into a long and costly search for debt relief. Instead of putting away for retirement, or saving for our children’s college funds, we are throwing away our hard earned money to needless interest rates and ridiculous hidden fees. When will it end and how much will it really cost? Did you know if you only make minimum monthly payments on $10,000 of debt, at 18% interest, it could take up to 33 years to repay?

Our passion to borrow, along with the immediately gratification it provides, has caused us to forget the damaged financial situation that eventually occurs. Credit card debt is at the center of America’s financial troubles and stands between those that can truly live the American Dream and those that will die trying.
